Nestled between the Ngorongoro Crater andSerengeti plains in Tanzania, lies Ndutu. At the start of every year, over a million wildebeest are summoned to these short grass plains to give birth. The great calving epitomises the circle of life as the fresh offspring attract a number of predators, making Ndutu one of the most prolific areas to watch bigcats such as lions, cheetahs and leopards hunt.
As the rains arrive in April, the migration moves out of Ndutu and into Central and Northern Serengeti as large herds startto cross the mighty Mara River into Kenya. June through August offer spectacular opportunities to witness action around the river.
Join Shaaz as he leads expeditions between January and March to Ndutu and June to August in Central and Northern Serengeti. Stay at the most luxurious camps in the heart of the wilderness where Shaaz guides and teaches photography.
